1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Mariposas, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Account
You must sign in with Apple or Google to use Mariposas. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. In-App Purchases
- Mariposas offers optional in-app purchases for Gashapon roll packs.
- All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Gashapon items are randomized. Drop rates and pity system details are disclosed in-app before each spin.
- Purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or platform store policies.
4. Virtual Items
Collectible pets, gear, and other in-app items are virtual goods with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be transferred, traded, sold, or exchanged outside the app.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not attempt to manipulate the Gashapon system, exploit bugs, or gain rewards through illegitimate means.
- Do not use offensive language in pet nicknames or any user-visible fields.
- Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app or its servers.
- Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose.
6. Health Data Disclaimer
Mariposas reads workout and health data to award in-app rewards. The app is not a medical device and is not intended for medical use. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting or changing any exercise program.
7. Intellectual Property
All content in Mariposas, including pet artwork, UI design, and software, is the property of the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app.
9. Limitation of Liability
Mariposas is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Apple App Store
If you downloaded Mariposas from the Apple App Store, Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the app. Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, consumer protection claims, or claims that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal requirement. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Mariposas after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
