Joyce showed up one Tuesday morning with half a plain bagel and absolutely zero apologies. Nobody knows where the other half went. She stands with the quiet confidence of someone who has already eaten breakfast and is therefore prepared for anything, including your rest-day guilt and your hill sprints. Joyce is the friend who cheers you on from the sideline while methodically working through a carb the size of her own head. Her energy is unhurried but dependable.
